John / Jan Havlasek

This site catalogues work I created or directed — books I engineered, software I built, Paradox game mods I created, music I composed on Suno, the Qyvaria AI ecosystem, and my journalism & activism. Primary focus: my books, mods, software direction, music, and public writing. Third-party components used as tools or dependencies are disclosed below.

Biography

I am John / Jan Havlasek, an independent AI engineer, systems thinker, author, musician, and public voice operating from the Czech Republic. My work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybernetics, intelligent control, human–machine systems, simulation, long-horizon software architecture, history, myth, consciousness, and direct public expression.

Under the name Qyvaria I design modular AI environments and orchestration concepts that keep the human in command of purpose, permissions, and final judgment. I reject black-box culture. I prefer systems that can be inspected, extended, and reasoned about.

As an author I engineer the stories, the backplots, the structure, and the intent of every book. AI is a tool I direct. It writes what I instruct it to write. I remain the writer. The books are mine.

I create performance and systems mods for Paradox Interactive games (Hearts of Iron IV, Crusader Kings III, Victoria 3, Imperator: Rome, Stellaris). I compose and publish original music on Suno (hundreds of tracks). I maintain open software collections that I test and release myself. I also practice journalism and activism through public writing and posts.

Listings emphasize work I originated or fully directed. Where software builds on others’ open-source code, game engines, or platforms, that is dependency or environment — not a claim that I wrote those foundations. See Attribution.

Core principles

  • Human remains the owner of purpose and final judgment
  • Modularity and inspectability over opaque monoliths
  • Authorship is ownership of story, structure, and intent — tools do not replace the writer
  • Independent work requires freedom; freedom requires support
  • Public work should be honest about origin and limitation
  • Long-horizon systems over short-lived demos

How I work with AI

Writing with AI is not pressing a button. It is constant refinement, relentless editing, and deep intellectual engagement. Every sentence is constructed, deconstructed, and reconstructed. I run long focused sessions (often extreme endurance hours) to keep consistency, depth, and coherence across full works. AI multiplies the workload; it does not remove it. The vision, the decisions, and the final soul of the work stay with the human author.

Books

I put hard work into every book. They are priced dirt cheap on purpose so people can actually read them. I wrote the story, the backplot, and engineered the whole structure. AI wrote the text I directed it to write. I am the writer. AI is a tool.

Music — Suno

Original music created and published by John Havlasek on Suno. Over 600 tracks. AI-assisted composition under my direction — same principle as the books: I define the vision, the style, the intent; the tool executes.

Full catalogue & player

The complete library lives on Suno. Open the profile to browse, play, and listen to all tracks. A true “radio of all 600 songs” requires hosting the audio files or continuous embedding that Suno’s public interface does not fully expose for third-party sites. Design stance

  • Human remains in command of purpose, policy, and final judgment
  • Modularity over monolithic black boxes
  • Transparency and auditability preferred to mystery
  • Systems that can evolve coherently, not scattered scripts
  • AI treated as infrastructure and coordination layer
  • Public releases where useful; strategic core protected where necessary

Qyvaria deep dive — start here

Qyvaria is not a chat wrapper and not a closed SaaS product. It is a public technical direction: modular orchestration, human-in-command control, simulation-oriented thinking, and long-horizon architecture.

What it is

  • Open releases where useful (kernel, docs, packages)
  • Human remains owner of purpose and final judgment
  • Inspectable modules over black boxes
  • Studio index for downloads, checksums, wiki-style info

What it is not

  • Not a promise of AGI marketing
  • Not a replacement for your own judgment
  • Not corporate-funded product theatre
  • Not “AI does everything while you watch”

How to approach it

  • Open the Studio Index for current files and docs
  • Read the kernel / release notes on GitHub
  • Treat it as infrastructure to inspect and extend
  • Report problems; status is stated honestly

STATUS Public direction in active development — some components under fix; check Studio Index and GitHub for current state.

Journalism & Activism

Public writing, commentary, and activism form part of my work. I use social platforms to publish analysis, criticism, and direct statements.

Facebook — John6Havlasek

Primary public channel for longer posts, journalism-style pieces, activism, and ongoing commentary. This is where I publish material that does not fit inside software repositories or book releases.

Open Facebook Profile →

Journalism and activism here means independent public expression — not institutional media affiliation. The work stands or falls on the arguments and evidence presented in the posts themselves.

Changelog

Public log of what changed on this site and in the work it points to. Updated when something ships.

  • Neocities policy pass: Attribution section, Paradox unofficial-mod disclaimer, softened originality claims, third-party tool disclosure, donation clarification.
  • Site: What’s New bar, search, Qyvaria deep dive, commission clarity, compressed identity background, request form, expanded book cards, hardened localStorage.
  • Catalogue: software listings focused on work I direct; third-party foundations disclosed under Attribution.
  • Music: featured Suno tracks with embed + direct links; full library on Suno profile.
  • Links: AI Software Inspector, Ko-fi, Payhip, GitHub Books release, Paradox-Lords mods.

When you release a new book, mod, or software package, this list should gain a dated line. That is the main reason to return.

Request Work / Commission

Use this form to request a book, software, mod, or other work. It opens your email client with a pre-filled message to Qyvaria@proton.me. No data is stored on this site.

Book commissions

Send topic, length preference, language (EN/CZ), and deadline if any. I quote after reading the brief. You get a written work engineered by me; AI is the tool, not the author of record.

Software on demand

Describe the problem, platform, and must-have features. Small utilities and focused tools preferred. I confirm scope before building.

Game mods

Paradox titles preferred (HOI4, CK3, Victoria 3, Imperator, Stellaris-related). State the game, version if known, and whether you want performance, AI, or feature work.

What I generally don’t take

Vague “build me an app like X” with no scope, unpaid speculative large platforms, or work that requires pretending AI wrote itself.

This uses your device’s mail app. If nothing opens, email Qyvaria@proton.me directly.

Contact & Commissions

Anyone can email for anything: book commissions, software requests, mod requests, music ideas, collaboration, questions, activism/journalism contact, or general messages.

Write clearly what you need. I respond when capacity allows.

Attribution, tools & third parties

Honest disclosure for Neocities and visitors. This site is a personal portfolio. Commercial links (books, donations) support independent work; the site is not an ads-only or scam page.

What is mine

  • Story, structure, backplot, and editorial direction of the books listed
  • Design and packaging of the listed Paradox performance/AI-oriented mods (unofficial fan works)
  • Direction of Qyvaria as a public technical project and related documentation I publish
  • Music compositions published under my Suno profile (generated with Suno as a tool)
  • This website’s layout, copy, and presentation

Tools and platforms I use (not claimed as my invention)

  • AI writing tools — used under my direction to produce text; I remain responsible for structure, edits, and publication
  • Suno — music generation platform; tracks linked to suno.com/@john_havlasek
  • Google AI Studio — host for experimental apps (e.g. AI Software Inspector, Aura AIV); those apps are experiments I configured, running on Google’s platform
  • GitHub — hosting for source and releases
  • Payhip / Ko-fi — third-party stores for paid books and voluntary support
  • Paradox Interactive games — commercial games required to use the mods; trademarks remain theirs
  • Open-source libraries and code — any software I release may include or depend on third-party open-source components under their own licenses. I do not claim authorship of those components. Check each repository’s LICENSE and notices

Donations

Ko-fi links are voluntary support for independent creative and technical work. Not an investment, not a charity registration claim, not a guaranteed product pre-order unless separately agreed by email.
